BIPOC Club was born amid the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, with the hope of providing extra support to MBA students who identify themselves as underrepresented and/or are newcomers to Canada. The club champions an inclusive and supportive community where all members feel comfortable to authentically express their true selves and share their diverse cultures. Club events are planned to celebrate cultural diversity, raise awareness, and inspire meaningful impact on the cohort.

Favourite Event: Nigerian Independence Celebration

• The event hosted on October 1st was open to everyone in the cohort. Students came together to commemorate Nigerian Independence Day while immersing themselves in African cultures by tasting Nigerian cuisine, engaging in fun games, and dancing to mark the occasion.
